Virtual Conference Instructions

 

For Organizers

 

  1. ACIS will send you a link to be added to the ACIS zoom account.
  2. When you receive the link Log on to Zoom.
  3. Follow the instructions to create an user profile.
  4. Then hoose “Schedule Meeting” from the menu.
  5. On the “Schedule Meeting” page, choose the date and time that you want to hold the meeting.
  6. Be sure to choose the correct time zone for the country that the meeting will be held in.
  7. After you fill out the information, and the end of the page press “Save”.
  8. Then on the next page, you will receive the Meeting ID, Pass code and Invite link.
  9. Next, send the Meeting ID, Pass Code and Invite link to acis@acisinternational.org and we will send it to all of the registered participants.
  10. You can also put that information in the conference program.

 

For Authors

  1. You will receive a link from ACIS international with the date and time of the meeting, Meeting ID, Passcode to join the meeting.
  2. Go to Zoom.com and create an account.
  3. On the day of the meeting, click the link that we sent you for the conference. That will take you to Zoom.com
  4. A window will pop up that will ask you if you would like to join the meeting.
  5. Click “Join meeting” and you will then be connected to the meeting.
  6. You presentation should be around 20 minutes in length with a question and answer period at the end.
