Virtual Conference Instructions
For Organizers
- ACIS will send you a link to be added to the ACIS zoom account.
- When you receive the link Log on to Zoom.
- Follow the instructions to create an user profile.
- Then hoose “Schedule Meeting” from the menu.
- On the “Schedule Meeting” page, choose the date and time that you want to hold the meeting.
- Be sure to choose the correct time zone for the country that the meeting will be held in.
- After you fill out the information, and the end of the page press “Save”.
- Then on the next page, you will receive the Meeting ID, Pass code and Invite link.
- Next, send the Meeting ID, Pass Code and Invite link to acis@acisinternational.org and we will send it to all of the registered participants.
- You can also put that information in the conference program.
For Authors
- You will receive a link from ACIS international with the date and time of the meeting, Meeting ID, Passcode to join the meeting.
- Go to Zoom.com and create an account.
- On the day of the meeting, click the link that we sent you for the conference. That will take you to Zoom.com
- A window will pop up that will ask you if you would like to join the meeting.
- Click “Join meeting” and you will then be connected to the meeting.
- You presentation should be around 20 minutes in length with a question and answer period at the end.
