Korea Convergence Security Association

Topics

This special session focuses on a variety of converged security issues, technologies and solutions. Increasing the complexity of telecommunications networks, security requirements are increasing, and despite being more critical and demanding, traditional security technologies may not satisfy users and new security threats continue to grow.

Depending on these diverse requirements of environments, such as open, heterogeneous, dynamic, and distributed computing, we must design an environment with a continuous variety of applications. We can cooperate while keeping the security requirements. The main purpose of this session is to get together. Researchers and practitioners on convergence security, including various security technologies, such as cyber security and information security, to discuss new methods and technologies. We especially welcome papers on security technology of various media, big-data, cloud security, AI-based security, blockchain technology, and etc.

Business Innovation for Sustainable Management

Topics

This Special session addresses sustainable development from different perspectives (strategic, organizational, operations, technology, etc.) while considering the central axis of business innovation. This includes an examination of the internal and external challenges faced in this process. Submissions are welcomed that examine this domain from theoretical perspectives, consolidate existing theories and/or test methodologies that contribute to this field of knowledge. This can include conceptual and empirical studies using quantitative or qualitative analysis, studies with a special interest on using different levels and units of analysis, and specific case studies of organizations that have focused on specific area(s) or ways to promote sustainability.

  • Business innovation—whether in processes, products, or services
  • Examination/case studies of success/failure in implementing a Business Innovations model.
  • Thought-provoking agendas for Business Innovations applications.
  • Evolution/transformation of a business model from traditional business models to business models for sustainability.

Global Management Strategy in the New Normal Era

The world is facing social and economic difficulties with the declaration of the Pandemics as Corona 19. In these times, we need to overcome difficulties with new challenges and transform ourselves into a more advanced form. In addition, the importance of health and prevention is emerging in society as a whole, and non-face-to-face operations and management are spreading. Indeed, the New Normal era has opened, where the existing social order has changed. This era requires new technologies such as AI (Artificial Intelligence), Big Data, and Iot 5G as new growth engines, and humans have new expectations. We would like to think about the changes in the global market and the management strategies that led the changes, and explore more advanced alternatives through discussion.

The increases in ICT infrastructure/equipment investment and increased ICT adoption tend to be strongly correlated with economic growth and productivity, However, the digital-economic needs more participation of digital government and the people who run the economy play an important role. Digital Transformation in Business

Topics

Digital transformation in business is the digitization of both internal and outward-facing processes via technology, which help a business improve operations and combat the growing threat of disruption. Indeed, digital transformation is changing the way how businesses interact with customers and employees by taking full advantage of technology as well as significantly improve internal processes and business performance. The aim of this special session is to introduce digital transformation in business to a wider audience. This special session embraces the applications of digital transformation in business to generate new insights and shed new light on existing literature by assembling conceptual, theoretical and empirical studies related to the topics. We welcome your submissions to this special session in all areas of this domain with variety of systems and experimental methodologies used. The following are illustrative questions/themes that are consistent with the spirit of this special session but are not limited to:

  • What is the current state of digital transformation in business practices, issues and challenges?
  • What are the key constructs for digital transformation in business? What are the casual relationship among them?
  • How do we evaluate effectiveness of digital transformation in business and suggest improvement evaluations?
  • How can digital transformation facilitate business performance?
  • Is there any successful/ failed case studies in implementing digital transformation in business?
  • What might be the key challenges in order to implement successfully digital transformation in business?
  • What role individual organization, industry consortium, and policymakers and each managerial function should play to help implement digital transformation in business?
