ICIS 2022 Special Sessions

Workshop 1: The 3rd International Workshop on Smart Media Theory and Application (SMTA 2022)

Motivation

Smart media, an application of artificialintelligence, is becoming a hot research topic in recent years. Smart media takes advantage of context-aware computing to analyze the consumer’s environment, behaviors and preference, and to provide contents, products and service that matches up with needs of consumers to enhance user experiences. The development of smart media applies the latest internet technologies to media field, which cover fundamental theories, application-oriented theories, key technologies and applications at multiple levels. The research not only has high theoretical research value but also is of crucial importance for shaping where media technology industry will be headed.

Topics

This workshop provides a forum for researchers and practitioners to present their latest research findings in any aspects of smart media. We especially encourage papers on mobile communication net, internet of things, UHD video technology, big data, cloud computing, cloud storage, artificial intelligence, smart media, virtual reality, augmented reality etc. We also welcome papers that highlight successful modern applications of smart media, such asintelligent voice, intelligent writing, intelligent editing, intelligent asset management, intelligent publishing, intelligent terminal. SMTA 2022 attempts to meet the needs of a large and diverse community. The topics include, but not limit to:

Workshop 2: The 13th International Workshop on Intelligent Computational Science (ICS 2022)

 In conjunction with IEEE/ACIS ICIS 2022 (http://www.acisinternational.org/icis2022/) Zhuhai, China, June 26-28, 2022

 Motivation

Intelligent computational science is becoming a hot research topic in recent years. It is a comprehensive application-oriented discipline. Its goal is to deal with massive and complex information, develop new and advanced theories and technologies. Artificial Intelligence technologies are usually used in the computational science area to make computer systems more intelligently process information. The research of intelligent computational science covers fundamental theories, application-oriented theories, key technologies and applications at multiple levels. This research not only has the high theoretical research value but also is of great importance for the infrastructures of the economy.
