CSII 2020 Special Sessions

Call for Papers

The 7th International Workshop on Computational Intelligence & Applications (CIA2020)

In conjunction with IEEE/ACIS CSII 2020

(http://acisinternational.org/conferences/csii-2020/) City University of Macau, China, December 14-16, 2020, Macao

Motivation

Computational intelligence is a set of nature-inspired computational methodologies and approaches to address complex real-world problems. In order to achieve a balance between the solution time and the solution accuracy, computer scientists have proposed many intelligent algorithms with heuristic characteristics. These algorithms either imitate the evolution process of biological world, or imitate the physiological structure and body function of biological, imitate the group behavior of animals, or imitate the characteristics of human thinking, language and memory process, or imitate the physical phenomenon of nature. The research of intelligent computational science covers fundamental theories, application-oriented theories, key technologies and applications at multiple levels. This research not only has the high theoretical research value but also is of great importance for the infrastructures of the economy.

Topics

This workshop provides a forum for researchers and practitioners to present their latest research findings in any aspects of computational intelligent. We especially encourage papers on Evolutionary computation, Co-evolutionary Systems, Machine Learning, Neural Networks, Evolutionary Games and Multi-Agent Systems, etc. We also welcome papers that highlight successful modern applications of computational intelligent. CSII 2020 attempts to meet the needs of a large and diverse community. The topics include, but not limit to:

  1. Computational Intelligence: Case Studies and Applications
  2. Evolutionary Computation
  3. Multi-objective Optimization

The 2nd International Workshop on Smart Media Theory and Application (SMTA 2020)

In conjunction with CSII 2020

December 14-16, 2020Macau

Motivation

Smart media, an application of artificial intelligence, is becoming a hot research topic in recent years. Smart media takes advantage of context-aware computing to analyze the consumer’s environment, behaviors and preference, and to provide contents, products and service that matches up with needs of consumers to enhance user experiences. The development of smart media applies the latest internet technologies to media field, which cover fundamental theories, application-oriented theories, key technologies and applications at multiple levels. The research not only has high theoretical research value but also is of crucial importance for shaping where media technology industry will be headed.
